Tribeca is happy to join Governor Andrew M. Cuomo in jumpstarting the arts through the New York Arts Revival program, spearheaded by Tribeca’s very own Jane Rosenthal, along with acclaimed producer Scott Rudin. Launching next month, the initiative will include pop-up performances and exhibitions across the state, with more than 150 world-class artists — plus theaters, orchestras, ballet companies, and more organizations — joining the fun at outdoor locations and socially-distant venues.

“These artists are part of what makes New York New York,” Cuomo said during his second 2021 State of the State Address on Tuesday, January 12th.

New York Arts Revival will culminate in part with the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, slated for June 9 through 20th. (Mark your calendar if you haven’t already!) Founded in the aftermath of 9/11, Tribeca revitalized New York City through the arts. Now, two decades later, Tribeca continues that mission while celebrating the city’s resiliency and aiding recovery from the pandemic.
