After unexpectedly losing her husband, Yehudit has no choice but to start over. In the process, she finds that abrupt and painful detours can lead to bright roads.

After losing her husband tragically, 60-year-old Yehudit (Ronit Yudkevitch) discovers that she has inherited his debt. With no other choice but to start over, she decides to embark on a solo trip without telling anyone. Along the way, she must face her grief over the loss of her husband and the life she once knew,  having spent years fulfilling everyone's wishes but her own. In the process, she makes new friends, finds a new job and even experiences love. What started as an escape from tragedy and emptiness eventually unfolds as a journey of growth and happiness, proving that unexpected detours can lead to bright futures.

What is to Come is the second feature by Israeli filmmaker Ruthy Pribar, whose first feature film Asia premiered at Tribeca in 2020. Here, Pribar once again delivers a warm, woman-centered drama about family, identity, connection and self-discovery.—Miriam Garcia
