Solange Celebrates the 10-Year Anniversary of A Seat at the Table and Vulture’s Cement Record Award

Vulture Festival at Tribeca Festival
| 60 MINUTES
In 2016, Solange released A Seat at the Table — an album Vulture Music Critic Craig Jenkins called at the time "a care package of soul songs that serve as comforting vehicles for hard, unfettered truths." To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Solange will receive Vulture's Cement Record, the award honoring albums that cement an artist's legacy. Jenkins will talk with Solange about making the record and what it has meant — and continues to mean — for the culture, with additional contributions from collaborators and artists influenced by the seminal album.
