Sutu, is an Australian digital artist and XR specialist who combines art and technology in new ways to tell immersive stories. His art explores themes surrounding the future of digital technology and culture, virtual identity and memory. He holds an Honorary Doctorate in Digital Media.
Wen-Yee Hsieh
Wen-Yee Hsieh, is a Taiwanese artist who poses questions through digital graphics, photography, architecture design, and performing arts. His first VR experience, Limbotopia in VR, co-created with Chun-Lien Cheng, won the 2022 Anifilm International Festival Best VR Film Award and was nominated at the 2022 TRIBECA Festival and the 2021 Kaohsiung Film Festival.

Matt is co-founder of ScanLAB Projects. His background is in architecture and speculative storytelling about digital cities of the future. As a director he’s led award winning, creative, technically ambitious, big budget projects across the Arts, TV, Film and Immersive Media including; FRAMERATE: Pulse of theEarth (La Biennale di Venezia, SXSW, BFI LFF), Post-lenticular Landscapes (LACMA, Royal Academy), Felix’s Room (Berliner Ensemble), Eternal Return (STRP, CPH:DOX) and Frozen Relic (The Louisianna, AA Gallery). He’s a big believer in creative perfection and creative error in equal measure.
meriko borogove
meriko has worked with ScanLAB Projects since 2018 as an Advisor and key collaborator.. She is a technical design director focused on cross-disciplinary work on new interfaces and media languages in emerging narrative fields, and partners with studios, theatres, researchers and creatives who push the boundaries of technology in the service of story, art and community. She is Honorary Professor of Creative Technologies at the Royal Holloway College of London, and served as founding CTO of the new CoSTAR National Lab for R&D in Creative Technology. At ScanLAB, she is Executive Producer of FRAMERATE (La Biennale di Venezia, SXSW, BFI LFF, Phi Centre) and co-director of Felix’s Room (Berliner Ensemble). meriko spent more than 2 decades at Apple, where she created some of the most innovative technologies of the last 25 years. She was a founding member of the iPhone team, and designed and built the iPhone cameras - fundamentally changing photography across the globe.

Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
